Ryan & Melissa Humphrey

Serving in integrated projects

Thanks for visiting our page!

Our passion is to assist individuals, families, and communities in multi-dimensional poverty through integrated projects with integrated care. Not only do we seek to help solve issues with food insecurities but look at how we can partner with communities to help encourage and improve education and literacy, health education and wellness, as well as addressing job security needs. Ryan serves as the Executive Director of Fundacion Adoptemos Una Generacion in El Salvador. Through this nationally recognized, multi-faceted organization, we provide training and assist in reproducible, sustainable solutions while working hand-in-hand with the community, empowering them to identify needs and resources from within their communities. Financial partners who give to 'The Humphrey Family/General Fund 425' help keep our family serving here in El Salvador as well as cover all the financial expenses of the various projects and national staff that work in the projects.

DATES NOW OPEN FOR 2024 TEAM TRIPS! Teams of all sizes have the opportunity to integrate into the various projects as well as choose special projects to help bless the communities that we are reaching. Teams will have the opportunity to learn how to apply valuable skills for reaching the lost and engaging in community projects that can be used back home as well. If your team would like to bless a specific project area, we offer additional special projects of your choosing. Help us reach communities within the radius of the clinic by helping with medical brigades. Bring trainings and new disciplines/techniques with sports clinics. Or cover a single mom with love by building her a new home. Cost per person/day depends on the number of teammates, travel season, as well as special project costs.

Corintios Soccer Club is one of our integrated projects that benefits the communities through integrated care. Here, students are able to learn about how to not only handle the ball but handle life's ups and downs. Emerge Global teammate and Corintios director, Josimar Alarcon, leads the coaches and club players and sets the focus on discipline, love, and how to dream big in life!

Clinica de Crecimiento (Clinic of Growth) is a sustainable project in an area with no other healthcare options. It is a recipient of grants from FAME and IDES, as well as many individual financial contributors. The clinic provides affordable, high quality care option to 75,000 people. Emerge Global teammate and licensed P.A., Jessie Franey, arrived here in December 2023 to assist our national medical staff and opens the door for supervising internships with US medical students. Future care options will also include a 24 hour urgent care center, ambulance service, minor surgery center, optometry, and dentistry. We thank the many donors and business partners who have helped get this dream started! If you are interested in helping us reach our 2024 financial goal for the clinic, please email us. To donate to the clinic, please select 'The Farm/Clinic' option.

Queen Warriors Girls is our newest pilot program in partnership with fitness app Queen Warriors. 20 girls have been selected for the 2024 program and focuses on mental and physical health, education, spiritual growth, and social care. Emerge Global teammate, Hannah Alarcon, is our director for this new program. To donate to the Queen Warriors Girls program, please select 'Queen Warriors Girls' option from the dropdown tab.

MissionDrop is in the works! Part of the ongoing development of the Crecimiento Campus is our newest clean water facility. Not only will MissionDrop provide clean water to our clinic, but it is our newest sustainability project for the communities. This project will be selling clean water at an affordable price for everyone.

Inez Farm was started with a grant by IDES as a way to help address food shortages and high prices of imported fruits and vegetables. It continues, with management from a local family, to produce tomatoes, bell peppers, and squash. We also just planted 2,500 plantain plants and a few hundred papaya trees. These are staple foods in the coastal zone and grow well in the climate of the area. We can't wait to see how these new plants produce!
